THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT

We are proposing to deliver a range of much needed, high-quality homes at the site.  The development will consist of c. 500 new homes, new access roads, areas of public open space and children’s play equipment.  At least 20% of the total number of new homes will be affordable, suited to the needs of the wider community, as bolstered by our partnership model.

Placemaking is at the core of our design process to create a high-quality development that places the needs of future and existing residents first.  The masterplan takes account of the site’s surroundings and the opportunities this presents to   integrate seamlessly into the wider area.

The masterplan builds upon the design principles established for the site by the outline planning permission and will deliver; high-quality, sustainable new homes which respond to the surrounding context, extensive open space which will be accessible to all and the retention and enhancement of the existing Public Right of Way which runs through the site.

The proposals will secure an attractive, high quality and sustainable development, which will create a distinct sense of place and identity for future residents.

A variety of house types will be provided to suit the needs of the local community.  The masterplan assumes three distinct character areas which respond to the varied context which surrounds the site.

We are working with key stakeholders to develop the design and specification of the homes which are to be provided prior to the submission of the Reserved Matters submission. Illustrative examples of other Keepmoat developments are provided for context below.

We would love to hear your views on the emerging masterplan by completing the feedback form provided on the Have Your Saysection of this website.
